In the Massachusetts State House on 1/09/61, JFK delivered his famous “City Upon a Hill” as a farewell to the Massachusetts political arena.

Earlier in his life, Kennedy had imagined that his political career would likely progress no further than this building (either as senator or perhaps governor).  Fortunately for us, that wasn’t the case.
